Seeing the fine print…

Trying to read the text on labels gets harder as we age, its a reality that frustrates many yet many have a -partial solution in their pocket—their smart phone. The best magnifier is just like the best camera, its the one you have with you. iOS 10 has an exceptionally well designed Magnifier that is not an odd but built in into the operating system. How to use it? The CIO website has a nice little tutorial on using it. With a read:

How to enable Magnifier :

1. Open the Settings app.

2. Tap on General.

3. Tap on Accessibility.

4. Tap on Magnifier.

5. Tap the Magnifier and Auto-Brightness settings to the On position.

When you need quick access to a Magnifier you can just triple-click the Home button on your iPhone or iPad.

Getting the ingredient list can be tough, especially tucked under a fold. The magnification below is just a quick shot to show the magnification and image stabilization.
