AssistiveWare, makers of Proloquo2Go and Pictello is once again is offering scholarship to attend Closing the Gap conference. This is a great opportunity for parent or sibling to explore or expand their knowledge of Assistive Technology.
The Carol Villars Scholarship allows a family member of a child with disabilities to attend the Closing The Gap conference in Minneapolis in October. This is the most practical, practitioner-driven Assistive Technology conference in North America. Closing the Gap provides over 175 presentations and hands-on lab sessions as well as exhibits where you can see the latest technology. Attending the conference will provide any parent, grand-parent or sibling a wealth of information and the opportunity to network with parents, teachers, and therapists. And it will give you an opportunity to meet in person with several members of the AssistiveWare team.
AssistiveWare will provide a stipend for travel and lodging costs, while Closing The Gap will waive the conference fee. Applications for this year will close on 4 June, 2017
